Environmental Coalition and Environmental Initiative: Earth Day Photography Contest Winner's Exhibit

Event Description
You are invited to Linderman Library to view a display of the photographs submitted to this year's Earth Day 2009 Photography Contest sponsored by the Environmental Coalition and the Environmental Initiative. These wonderful images by students, faculty and staff are located in the main lobby, the Cafe Gallery and the 4th floor Parents Gallery of the Library. Over 300 submissions were received with winners chosen by student vote for each of the eight categories including Animal, Urban Environment, Flowers, Campus, Mountain, Forest, Beach and Sunset. The overall winner, Matthew S. Bennett, Ph.D. Candidate, Dept. of Earth and Environmental Sciences, was awarded an Olympus camera. Stop by Linderman and see these amazing works by your friends!
