Research: Faculty Peer Exchange Workshop on NSF Funding
Start Date: 11/18/2013Start Time: 12:00 PM
End Date: 11/18/2013End Time: 1:30 PM
Event Description
This is to invite you to the third session of the Faculty peer exchange workshop series on finding research funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF). The mentors for the workshop on NSF Funding are Dominic Packer (Psychology), Kathy Iovine (Biological Sciences) and Rick Vinci (MSE). We will begin the session with introductory remarks by Alan Snyder (VP Research) followed by a panel discussion on topics related to NSF funding and programs by the panel members (see details of topics in the preliminary agenda below). This will be followed by open time for networking and questions. Please let me know if you have any suggestions for topics/questions you would like addressed by the panel. Our goal for the series is to bring together members of the faculty to share their knowledge and experience in particular aspects of research program development with colleagues who seek to learn from them. Experienced Lehigh faculty members have shown an eagerness to serve as mentors, and those who are developing new projects have benefited from sharing ideas with colleagues. We plan to cover a variety of topics of interest to members of the Lehigh faculty in all fields of study who are working to build and sustain their research programs and have questions, answers and advice, for their colleagues.
