Admissions

8:30 AM - 3:00 PM Admissions: Interviews - On-Campus
Interviews at Lehigh University are designed for students who would feel more comfortable in a one-on-one situation, have many specific questions, and/or have a personal situation to discuss. Interviews are not required for admission. Though evaluative in nature, they are one part of the holistic review our staff uses when considering an application for admission.

In terms of demonstrated interest, on-campus interviews are considered equivalent to the Group Information Sessions (thus, doing both the Group Session and interview is unnecessary). In fact, we highly recommend that the Group Information Session be your first choice since it is more comprehensive.

Appointments are required for interviews, which are scheduled on a first come, first served basis; to schedule one, please call Admissions at 610.758.3100 at least 24 hours in advance.
9:45 AM - 12:15 PM Admissions: Group Information Session and Campus Tour
A campus visit is an important part of a college search and admissions process as it is the opportunity for visitors to get the "feel" of the institution - to experience the intangibles. With this in mind, our Group Information Sessions and Campus Tours go beyond the facts and figures available on our website and brochures and describe the student experience, including aspects that make Lehigh unique.

A Lehigh Admissions staff member will share stories about how our driven students are challenged, engaged, and inspired by faculty mentors, the flexible approach to education, research opportunities, a community that values diversity and personal growth, the vibrant Lehigh Valley and city of Bethlehem, and the supportive Lehigh Family. Traditions, strong career placement, and admissions and financial aid processes are also discussed.

Many topics and facilities that are particularly important to first-year students and their parents are included in the 60-75-minute student-guided Campus Tour. Residence life and housing, dining, fitness and extra-curricular activities, course workload and relationships with professors, and student support services are all discussed. Highlights of the tour of Asa Packer campus include Linderman Library, the University Center, a residence hall room (when available), Taylor Gym, and S.T.E.P.S.

A visit to Lehigh is most effective if visitors attend an information session followed by a campus tour.

2:00 PM - 4:30 PM Admissions: Group Information Session and Campus Tour
A campus visit is an important part of a college search and admissions process as it is the opportunity for visitors to get the "feel" of the institution - to experience the intangibles. With this in mind, our Group Information Sessions and Campus Tours go beyond the facts and figures available on our website and brochures and describe the student experience, including aspects that make Lehigh unique.
